What services does Verneto provide?
Verneto provides beauty services across three specialties: hair (signature cutting, colour and balayage), skin (signature facials, advanced skin treatments), and nails (manicure and pedicure, gel and nail art). The studio is based in New York and Los Angeles and works with private clients across the country.
How long does a typical appointment take?
Appointment length varies by service. A signature cut and style typically runs 45 to 75 minutes. A full colour or balayage appointment runs 2 to 4 hours. A signature facial runs 60 to 75 minutes, and advanced skin treatments run 45 to 90 minutes. A manicure or pedicure runs 30 to 60 minutes, and gel or nail art runs 45 to 90 minutes. We provide a detailed time estimate after your initial consultation.
How does booking a first appointment work?
Every new client begins with a short consultation, in salon or by video, to understand your hair, its history, and what you want to achieve. From there, we confirm a tailored appointment plan covering recommended services, pricing, and timing for your approval. We can book your first appointment once the plan is confirmed.
Do you take clients from outside New York and Los Angeles?
Yes. Verneto is based in New York and Los Angeles and welcomes clients travelling from across the United States for signature colour and bridal appointments. We coordinate longer bookings and multi-session plans around travel schedules where needed.
What is your colour process?
Our colour process moves through five clearly defined stages: initial consultation and strand test, formulation, application, gloss and finish, and aftercare guidance. Each stage concludes with a check-in so the client approves the direction before the next stage begins. The full process is described in our client guide, shared with every new client at booking.
Do you offer patch testing before colour appointments?
Yes. A patch test is required for every new colour client and for any client returning after more than six months, in line with standard salon safety practice. We coordinate the test directly with you 48 hours ahead of the appointment, and can arrange it in salon or by post for clients booking from further afield.
What kind of appointments do you take on?
Verneto takes on appointments from a quick blowout or root touch-up through to a full colour transformation or multi-session restoration plan. Our typical colour appointment runs 2 to 4 hours. We are selective about very short bookings and prioritise them for existing clients on a maintenance schedule. Bridal and event bookings are sized per occasion.
